Welcome to my RESOURCE page

Counseling is not something that just happens for one hour once a week or once every other week.  The majority of the work is done by you at home, at work, at school and in the community.  Counseling provides the insights and the tools for you to start making the changes in your life that you are ready for, but you are the one that has to do the daily work to make changes possible.

Below is a list of books that I often recommend as an adjunct to the counseling sessions.
Self Help books are a fabulous way to learn about yourself and grow.
Feel free to check out these books to see if any call to you.

You can CLICK on the book for more information and to ORDER.

Please check back often, as I add books as I fall in love with them.

This page will constantly change as I also will add web pages, videos and articles that I find educational and useful.  If you have any suggestions to add, please email me and let me know.

This book is a wonderful tool to help with your work with your therapist.  It can be a little heavy to do on your own, without support.

I can not say enough about these books.  If you are in or have been in a relationship where you feel like you have lost YOU, you need to read these books.
Do you have a loved one that is going through a difficult time?  Do you want to understand what they are going through?  These are some great resources for you!

This book is a classic, along with the work book.
Healing the Child Within describes how the inner child is lost to trauma and loss, and how by recovering it, we can heal the fear, confusion and unhappiness of adult life.
These also should be used with your therapist.

And these are just some great work books my clients and I have used.  These work books provide a structure for working through issues at home.  When used in conjunction with counseling they are very powerful and enlightening.  My clients state that working through these workbooks, along with counseling, has helped them achieve their goals faster.
